Named for "Red" George MacDonell, the hero of the British raid on Ogdensburgh during the War of 1812, this quaint pub and restaurant offers an excellent casual dining experience in the historic Moran-Hooker Building in the heart of the RiverWalk District.

Regional Producers

Windmill Brewery

Named for the Battle of the Windmill National Historic Site that rests in sight of the Brewery, Windmill Brewery offers a selection of craft ales, lagers, and IPAs, all brewed onsite. You can enjoy a cold drink in their new indoor tap room, outside with live music at HappyCrap Hall, or take some home from their retail outlet. All just a short drive down Highway 2, east of Prescott.

King's Lock Distillery

King's Lock is an artisanal distillery located east of Prescott, adjacent to Windmill Brewery. Tours are available to learn more about the distilling process, including their use of locally-sourced ingredients. Take home a bottle of their Prescott White Rye, 2018 Canadian Artisan Spirit Competition Silver Medalist, a perfect reminder of your time exploring Prescott.
