2026 Events & Festivals

From the first big waterfront weekend of the season to one of Prescott’s signature holiday experiences, 2026 is filled with standout events worth planning around. Opening weekend at the Prescott Pop-Ups returns over Victoria Day weekend, kicking off another season on the shoreline alongside the return of the Prescott Farmers’ & Crafters’ Market and the River Run on May 16. Just two weeks later, Prescott Ribfest & World of Poutine takes over May 29 to 31, bringing one of the community’s biggest early-summer draws to Fort Wellington and the Leo Boivin Community Centre.

June and July carry that momentum forward with some of Prescott’s most recognizable experiences. The RCMP Musical Ride comes to Fort Wellington on June 21 at 2:00 p.m., offering an iconic Canadian performance in one of the town’s most memorable settings. On July 1, Canada Day in Prescott brings a full day of celebration across the community, running from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and anchoring one of the biggest days of the summer season.

Later in the summer, the focus shifts downtown and back to the waterfront with two more crowd favourites. The King Street Promenade returns to Downtown Prescott on August 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., creating a lively day of activity in the heart of town, followed by Prescott Beer Fest on August 15 at the Prescott Pop-Ups. When the season turns, the calendar closes with one of Prescott’s most distinctive late-year traditions: RiverWalk Wonderland & Prescott’s Annual Tree Lighting on November 21, transforming the Pop-Ups site into a festive gathering place to welcome the holiday season.

These are just a few of the headline events on Prescott’s 2026 calendar. For full event details, dates, and even more reasons to plan a visit, explore the complete 2026 Events Calendar.
