Forwarders' Museum and Visitor Information Centre
The Forwarding Trade became a prominent part of Prescott’s economic growth. The building from the 1820’s was built as a warehouse for goods brought by bateaux. That warehouse is now Forwarders’ Museum and Visitor Information Centre. Fort Wellington National Historic Site
offers many special events each summer! Come see what life was like for an 1830's Soldier and his family. Kids camps, guided tours, and more await you at one of Canada's oldest National Historic Sites.
St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival
The St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival presents lively, accessible productions in a beautiful outdoor amphitheatre, on the banks of the St. Lawrence river. Loyalist Days
Prescott's famous Historic Re-enactment festival was revived in 2008 and is getting bigger each year. Come to Fort Wellington N.H.S. the weekend of August 18-21, 2011 for a fun filled weekend of activities. Harbour Days
This family event is held every Father's Day weekend at our beautiful Sandra S. Lawn harbour. Come and enjoy the many children's activities, including air filled bounce rides, face painting, kayak tours, pontoon boat rides, and more. Finish the day with the always popular Prescott Idol Competition inside the great Kinsmen Amphitheatre.
Sunday Concert Series
Each Sunday evening in July and August beginning at 7 p.m., a free musical concert at the Kinsmen Amphitheatre is presented for all to enjoy. In case of rain, the concert is moved into the Leo Boivin Community Centre.
Fort Town Concert Association
The Fort Town Concert Association presents a four-concert season of classical music annually. The Association partners with Jeunesses Musicales Canada to spotlight young professional musicians and other world-class talents in rural Eastern Ontario.
The voluntary community-based Association partners with St. Andrew´s Presbyterian Church to present concerts. The church offers superb acoustics in an intimate setting. Located at Centre and Dibble Streets, the church also offers plenty of free parking on Prescott´s quiet tree-lined streets.
Musical appreciation is also encouraged with younger audiences by making concert presentations in schools and by offering free concert tickets to children under 12.
