The Purpose of the Guild is to:
Foster the appreciation and development of visual arts in South Grenville, emphasizing original and proprietary works of high quality, also to provide a medium for members to exchange views, ideas and interests, to develop their skills and techniques further, and to socialize with fellow artists.
The Guild meets on the third Monday of each month September to May at Walker House 623 King Street, Prescott, Ontario at 7:00 pm.
The Guild is limited to 35 members and presently is full but a waiting list has been established and those interested may contact any member of the executive (list below) for information.
The annual fee is $40, but members do pay the cost of any shows that require Guild money.
The Guild mounts three major, and a number of smaller, exhibitions each year.
The Guild attempts to have some form of guest speaker or demonstrator at many of the monthly meetings.
