Tourism

Prescott is rich in cultural and heritage tourism. Founded in 1810 by Colonel Edward Jessup, our town is home to over 75 sites and homes, each with a story to tell. In 2010 we will celebrate our 200th anniversary. Details of our special events will be available early next year. Our beautiful waterfront attracts visitors every year who marvel at our clean harbour and friendly, courteous staff. You can enjoy 18 holes of golf, tennis, lawn bowling, hockey, swimming and other sports. There are over 120 shops and services in our historic downtown. We are certain you will enjoy your stay.
