An Online Catalogue is available from home or in the Library. Adult members may reserve any book and it is held for them for a period of 2 days only. New books are placed on display every Monday for 1 week and reservations may be arranged. Suggestions for the purchase of new books are welcome and will be taken into consideration.

Interlibrary Loan service makes it possible to obtain books not available in our library from any library in the region. Requested books must be at least 1 year old.

A Reference Section holds a selection of encyclopedias, Canadiana, pamphlets and other material for use within the library only. Selected magazines and periodicals are for use in the Upper Reading Area and back issues may be borrowed for home reading.

There are 8 computers available for public use - Internet and Word Processing.  2 have Adaptive Technology Software. Printouts can be made for a fee of 25¢ per page for Black and White printouts, 50¢ per page for Colour printouts and $1 per page for Full Page Colour printouts. Use of computers is free at the moment.

A photocopier is available at a cost of 10¢ per copy.

A Fax service is also available. Fees for Faxing are as follows:
Local or Local Long Distance (613 Area Code)
$1.00 First Page
50¢   Each Additional Page
Longer Long Distance (Outside 613 Area Code)
$2.00 First Page
$1.00 Each Additional Page

An ongoing Book Sale in our Storage Room is available whenever the Library is open. Donations of used books in good condition (especially paperbacks) are welcome.

Anyone can also place a Memorial Book in the name of his or her loved ones in the Library at the discretion of the Librarian. A name plaque will be placed inside the book. Monetary donations are also gratefully accepted.
