2018 Summer Student Positions

 The Town of Prescott is pleased to invite students to join our municipal team in a variety of summer employment opportunities. Most positions will suit post-secondary students who are able to work on a full-time basis from early May to the end of August 2018. A limited number of positions may suit high school students who are available from late June to the end of August.

 To be eligible for most of the positions, you must be currently attending school on a full-time basis and intend to return to school, on a full-time basis, in the fall of 2018. Some positions may be made available to students who are currently in their last year of studies.

The following positions are available:

  1. Administrative Assistant – Operations Department
  2. Student Labourer - Public Works
  3. Qualified Instructors/ Lifeguards – Parks & Recreation
  4. Groundskeeper – Parks & Recreation

 Resumes for all positions must be received by 4:00 p.m. on March 16th, 2018. Interviews will be held in person and by phone to accommodate students who are away at school. Successful candidates will be notified by March 30th, 2018 or earlier.
